I don't like poetry, as a general rule. At least, not most of the poetry that people actually read. I like song lyrics, I like hip-hop, I like some slam poetry, and I like some modern stuff. Other than that, though, for the most part I tend to get too bored by the structures and by the fact that poets tend to try too hard to make what they write into "poetry." I'm putting some of my favorite poems up on here, though, because I want to be able to find them really easily, in a form that I know I'll like, in a place where I know they'll be without any problems from any computer. None of these are content that I in any way produced or anything. Most of them are public domain, of course, but some might not be. I don't really know, but I doubt that many people will see this, since it won't (I suspect) be linked to from the main site. At least not in any obvious way.

- The Duel --- Eugene Field (this one is sometimes called by the first line, "the Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat")
