Douchebag levels are up more than three hundred percent since 2004, according to a recent Elegant Doom study of Google Trends figures. This is despite a significant decline over that same period of Ashton Kutcher exposure. The Elegant Doom team will be carefully looking into these figures to try to find the source of all of this douchebaggery.

It looks like something or someone was successfully keeping the douchebags in check, it seems several douchebag uprising were quashed, the last one in maybe late late June, early August 2005, that was shortlived though. What ever or whoever was holding them back is no longer a factor. July 2005 something happened, since then it's been douchebags gone wild. What happened?
